  • Developed and delivered weekly classroom guidance lessons on topics such as character development, work habits, zones of regulation, Kelso’s strategies for solving small problems, self-esteem, test taking strategies, and college/career exploration

  • Met with all 3-5th grade students quarterly for a four-question survey designed to check in on each student in under a minute

  • Regularly communicated with teachers about students who they felt were in need of some additional support

  • Participated in weekly School Based Intervention Team meetings to design individual academic and behavior plans

  • Planned activities for Random Acts of Kindness Week and No Name-Calling Week

  • Created and ran the first annual “Health and Wellness Week” to promote whole body health by integrating more directed wellness conversations at P.E., in the cafeteria, in classrooms, and from collegiate student-athlete speakers

  • Facilitated small group counseling series with students on topics such as emotional regulation, friendship, self-esteem and managing conflict

  • Attended district-wide school counselor meetings

  • Used data to inform and create a classroom guidance series for 5th grade classroom guidance

  • Managed holiday toy-lift, gift distribution, family assistance, and staff assistance

  • Collected pre and post data on group counseling series to evaluate the program’s effectivenes
